Sponsorship Opportunities
Join us the first week of April as we celebrate the University of Central Florida Third Annual Research Week, focusing on energy, conservation, quality of life, and the environment. The week’s events include presentations and demonstrations from various UCF departments including the Florida Solar Energy Center, Physical Plant and the Advanced Materials Processing and Analysis Center, as well as collaborations between many of our academic departments. Topics include conservation-related research and issues, climate change and the effect on Florida’s ecosystems, as well as a simulation of the changing everglades, to name a few.
Most importantly, the week includes showcases of undergraduate and graduate student research with students presenting their research and competing for awards in various categories. This is an opportunity for students to highlight their research and creative projects and receive valuable feedback from faculty judges.
The environment that we live in is very important to us all, as is the support of our students and their research. If you would like to support Research Week, we are currently seeking sponsorships to fund our student awards and operational costs for the events. Companies and organizations offering their support will receive recognition in event materials. Please contact Nicole Marsh at nmarsh@mail.ucf.edu or 407-823-4373 for details.
Thank you for your interest in Research Week 2008!
