Techniques for Completing a Thesis or Dissertation

Dr. Wendy Carter, of the Educational Research Institute, offered Tips, Tools and Techniques for Completing a Thesis or Dissertation to a Monday evening crowd at the Live Oak Room.

Dr. Carter, who earned her doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, shared secrets from her TADA (Thesis And Dissertation Accomplished) method to complete graduate research.

Carter’s energetic presentation entertained the crowd of mostly students and offered her insight on all aspects of the dissertation process, from critical reading to define a topic to preparing for the defense.

The event was sponsored by the UCF Graduate Student Association.
